The pizza crust is chewy and just a little salty. The toppings were fresh and delicious. One of the best pizzas I've had in recent memory.

The food, service and prices are all upscale. The seating is nice inside and on the patio on the back.

The food at this place has never disappointed. They are especially good for pizzas and the large cheese and charcuterie boards. They struggle when it comes to cocktails. I asked the bartender if they had absinthe, and was told they did. I then ordered absinthe on the rocks at the table later on. No less than 3 different employees came back to my table to ask me what I wanted. One kept trying to get me to order an old fashioned instead. The next insisted they didn't have absinthe, even though the bartender showed me they did. I got my drink in the end, but it took about 20 minutes, with a lot of interruptions to the meal.

This one was hard to rate as 3 of us had a good meal and one of us had a bad meal.I ordered a pizza which had prosciutto and burrata on top of it. I was surprised to find that this pizza didn't come with marinara sauce and I wish it had because it was more of a flat bread than a pizza. Burrata on the top was fresh out of fridge which meant the cheese was super cold on top of the pizza and I'd prefer if it wasn't cold when ordering a hot meal. Room temp would of been much better. The cheese however was light and creamy and the pizza dough was doughy and yummy and I still enjoyed the meal. My friend got the panini which she enjoyed but there was so much dressing on her salad that there was a puddle on the plate and made the sandwich a bit soggy.

Gnocchi is delicious and the Terun pizza is amazing.

Had a awesome experience here with my friend. The food comes quickly and the service is just great. Prices are fair.

The server Raul had the worst attitude ever. We were having the dessert and while we didn't even finish, he came to our table and just took our bill *two times* very violently without asking. Are you serious? 2 times? Everyone, literally EVERYONE around us just stayed there and eating and he was the only server coming to the table and taking the bill without asking when we were still eating. There was also nobody waiting. What's wrong with you? I've lived in the US for 15 years and I've never seen a server this rude. We spent $140 here and had the worstest experience. I think there is only one word that could explain his attitude: racist.

My Mom and I had a reservation for 6:30 PM on a Friday. We arrived around 10 minutes early and the hostess seated us promptly. I ordered the homemade Scialatielli with fresh porcini mushrooms while my Mom ordered the Terun pizza. Both dishes were spectacular. We will most certainly be coming back in the near future. The pasta was al dente perfection, which is so hard to come across at most Italian restaurants in California. The Terun pizza was incredibly flavorful, and the crust was thin, just like pizza crust should be. If you're looking for stellar Italian food, you won't regret a visit to Terun in Palo Alto! Now if only they served espresso martinis...

Probably the BEST Italian restaurant in the bay area. I absolutely adore this Southern-Italian themed restaurant, with truly amazing quality dishes. I would highly recommend this place is you're looking for Italian cuisine. This place has a super fun and friendly atmosphere, with great and nice staff. AMAZING!!

Great food and a great atmosphere for a gathering with friends

Great pizza. It's a shame that their vegan option is to remove cheese from the pizzas and not use a vegan version

The best pizza IΓ’β¬β’ve eaten in the US and IΓ’β¬β’m Italian

Amazing good food. Got the calamari starter plate... It's not fried, but oh so good! The pizza is made expertly and the pasta was incredibly flavorful. I was to caught up with how good the food was to take pictures to post... But definitely worth it.

The pasta here is the best I've tried in the Bay area so far.

Really great family friendly and fun Italian dining with great outdoor seating. Had dinner with my wife and toddler she son, it was perfect. The food and drinks were very good. Good came out fast. The service was perfectly attentive. We had some great food, and our son ran around on the patio with several other kids. Really a great dinner.

The pizza dough and baking point were really perfect. I would have loved just slightly more tomato sauce, as the cornicione resulted very big, but it was really tasty none the less. A slight problem with my salad that arrived too late but they promptly took care of that in the bill.

This is among my favorite places to eat pizza in the bay area. It is truly Italian, the owners are always welcoming. Apart from the delicious food, the wine selection is really good.

Pricey, good food. Pizzas are great. Gnocci is one of the best I have ever had. They melt in your mouth. They have a good collection of wine. Great for date nights, celebrations or hang out with colleagues.

Excellent food, very friendly hosts. Everything on the menu is tasty, my favorites are Paccheri, Ravioli, Schiacciata, and Bismarck. For the desert I usually get the bread pudding or cannoli siciliani.

My favourite Italian restaurant in Palo Alto. The San Daniele pizza is the best. All of their apps are also very good. Burrata cheese and the brussel sprouts are my favorite!

This was a nice find for us. We made a day trip to Santa Clara and Palo Alto and stumbled across this place. We were lucky enough to walk in and get a table for lunch. We had a couple glasses of very nice wine, a couple pizzas, and a lasagna. All the food was really good and the staff was great. Highly recommend trying it if you're in the area.

Fun and lively place with good service. Our group of 5 enjoyed the antipasti platter and entrees. Risotto needed a bit more flavor but every plate got finished. Dessert and drinks were our favs. Good spot and price point.

Lunchtime and had the Gnocchi. They were great but not hot enough.Tiramisu was good but not great. Tried the Garamel Gelato with Olive Oil and it is heavenly. Definitely order that next time.Very friendly and nice atmosphere.

Authentic Italian style pizza and great homemade pastas. I love the Grilled Romaine salad, Pizza Terun or Classic Margarita.

Amazing owners and staff pour their love ok nto the food. Feels like family when you're there.

Great pizza if you like thin crust. Only been there once, so can't comment on much else, but the pizza topping choices were good, service reasonable, and the pizza tastes great.Parking is a challenge, as is true for most downtown Palo Alto. Restaurant environment is fine (neither high nor low end). Prices in line with downtown Palo Alto.

Always love this place. Once a month or so. Oops this belongs under Italico, the sister restaurant almost across the street.

TerΓΒΊn is the best pizza in Palo Alto. Lively atmosphere, decent service, and adequate wine selection. Definitely go for a pizza main course here. Fabulously done in a wood-fired oven. Try the caprese appetizer and San Danielle pizza--both excellent choices. Particularly interesting was the caramel gelato with olive oil for desert--although I was skeptical at first, the combo was marvelous. Must try.

Of all the pizza in Palo Alto, TerΓΒΊnΓ’β¬β’s is the best. Great overall Italian food, but nothing too special Γ’β¬β aside from the beet gnocchi.
Lee Vieira
Good pizza, but always seems to be a bit underdone/almost soggy in the middle. Would be PERFECT pizza if theyΓ’β¬β’d just cook it a fraction longer. Still recommended though. Very good gelato too.

Company holiday party. Decent parking in back for early lunch. Super attentive staff. Fantastic food that a lot of folks were raving about for days afterward. Eggplant Polpette: Light Italian falafel, even folks who hate eggplant loved these. All pizza was really good, but the star was the crust, chewy/tender & tasty, had me eating slices from the wrong end. Looking forward to going back.

Forgot to take pictures but the food was incredible! Nice ambiance too. We were surprised because there was a 45 minute wait on a Sunday night for dinner, but we sat at the bar so we didn't have to wait. They have really generous portions. We ordered the burrata for starters, then the spinach Gnocchi in a cheesy cream sauce, and the lasagna. All our dishes were excellent! Will definitely be returning.

So fresh. Fantastic ingredients. Pizzas spectacular

Authentic Italian place - rated top 7 pizza place in all of the US! Appetizers and pizza are all great, really well made with excellent ingredients. Great atmosphere with lots of space. Definitely get a reservation though as it fills up really fast!

Love love love this place. The sauce on the pizza is the best IΓ’β¬β’ve ever had. The people who own it and work here treat everyone like family, so welcoming, and amazing food. Went to Italy and came here as soon as home for their pizza :) the Terun pizza is my go to.

I had very high expectation for this pizza, but overall it was a let down. I ordered a Pizza Margherita, which is my go-to pizza for any new pizza place I try. Presentation was not that great, and the crust was not cooked properly, almost solid and raw (see picture). Definitely not the Verace Pizza Napoletana I was expecting, unfortunately. Only positive note are the ingredients: tomato, basil, and mozzarella were quite good, hence the third star. Overall though, I cannot recommend their pizza :(

I really loved the atmosphere of this pizza restaurant. The vibe is chill and relaxing, plus the food is amazing. I sat at the bar and the bartender was helpful with suggestions since I've never been here. The pizza portion is huge and worth every single penny. I couldn't even finish it so I took it back home. I wish I had more days to try different pizzas here because it was that delicious.

I've been here twice now. Great vegetarian options. The cocktails are good and the tiramisu was decent.

We went out for team lunch. We loved every dish except the calamari probably because it's served as cooked instead of usual fry

What more can be said. Great italian thin crust pizza, cocktails and wine. Everything on the menu is good. We've also done large events here and they knocked that out of the park too, of course.

The home made pasta with porcini mushrooms brought back memories of my Mom's cooking back in Italy. The staff was friendly and efficient. On my way out I bumped into the chef. We are both from southern Italy and had a good laugh about the restaurant name.

There are many Italian restaurants to choose from in the Bay Area, but TerΓΒΊn feels like a little piece of Italy. We love their cocktails, wine list, pizza, pastas and dessert. TerΓΒΊn is at the top of our list when friends ask for restaurant recommendations.

Not a large restaurant inside, but they do have a back patio area and some outdoor seating in the front. Ordered 4 different dishes and everything was quite delicious. The Bert's salad was fresh tasting and light. The Farro and Calamari was flavorful and good texture (it was kind of like warm though). The meat sauce on the pasta was tasty, al dente pasta. My favorite was actually the pizza with barrata, great combination. Service was good!

Pizzas excellent, great and friendly service. Awesome place!

Love this place! Love the vibe! The staff, the owner are amazing. It's one of those few places I feel like home! The food is delicious, especially the pizza! Strongly recommended!
